The Naracoorte gallery's annual show of local photography talent returns for its 14th year. Thirteen club members will each display three - six images taken over the past year, ranging across birds, wildlife, landscape, portraiture and astrophotography. Formed in 2009 — with three original members still active today — the club meets monthly at the gallery and welcomes photographers at every level of experience. Recent outings have taken members to the Murtoa Stick Shed and Millicent for macro photography, with Halls Gap next on the calendar.

Anne Emerson
"Eclecticism"

Naracoorte artist Anne Emerson presents her first solo exhibition, "Eclecticism" — a fitting title for a body of 22 works spanning watercolour, acrylic, collage, pen, pencil and various printing techniques. Mrs Emerson, who is in her 80s, began her art training with Penola artist Jill Eckermann at the Naracoorte TAFE in 1996 and has continued developing her practice ever since, including many years at the Grampians Brushes workshops in Halls Gap. A long-time gallery volunteer and former board member, she won the 2D section of this year's Ibis Rising awards. Her subjects include birds, plants, flowers and small landscapes.
